I've had many brands, and this one is about the least "fishy" of any. It is very palatable. As for how well it works... I can't say that I've noticed anything from taking them, but I seldom get sick and maybe this has something to do with it.

Had shoulder that I would wake up in tears. One tspn a day has made a tremendous difference. No more pain of course I have a really hard time investing it. I use honey to get it down, works!! Love it!

After a lot of research intoCod liver oil for my toddlers, this brand seems to have the most raves on over all quality. The vitamin content seems superior verses other top brands. I ordered the unflavored option and was nervous the smell would be overwhelming, but it actually is pretty subtle. I am amble to mix it with a variety of beverages and it go completely unnoticed by both my toddlers, one of who is very picky about appearance, textures and of course taste. I saw no negative side effects with taking it myself or giving it to my toddlers.

I read reviews and watched online suggestions for cod liver oil, and all the advantages of adding it to your diet. I already love foods with Omega3s, like salmon. I figured it couldn't hurt to add more.I took this cod liver oil for a few days, but experienced heavy 'fish burps", so stopped taking and requested a refund (which Amazon thankfully provided).A few days later, I noticed a rash on my lower legs. I almost never have skin conditions, so figured I was bitten or stung while working in the yard, and dismissed the situation. Later that week, my heart started beating at a far higher rate, and I couldn't seem to get it to stop. I actually went to the ER, who checked me for a heart attack (negative). While there, they asked if I always have a rash on my chest. No. After checking the leg rash, they wondered if I had a tick bite and administered a blood test. It came back negative.Over the next week, the rash has progressed over most of my body. My PCP couldn't identify, and suggested a topical ointment. I have an appointment with my dermatologist today.In the meantime, my wife searched online for potential answers, and found that Omega3 supplements can cause EVERY symptom I am experiencing, including the rapid heart rate! The pictures included match my rash exactly. The website said the effects of the Omega3 supplement can occur weeks after taking (even if you stop).So, while I cannot say the cod liver oil is the direct cause, I'd suggest caution about taking ANY supplement.
