I am using this as a preventative and so far my dog doesn't seem to have noticed adding the powder to her wet food. I am using it once a day I have noticed a slight improvement in her doggy breath when I get morning kisses. One jar will last a little over 3 months.

This arrived really well sealed so I considered this to be safe to use.I thought I was missing the scoop but it just happened to be at the bottom of the bottle which was a little bit of a mess trying to get it out without spilling the contents.I have two indoor cats that I feed a wet and dry food with. I know sometimes the wet food can cause plaque issues so I wanted to give this product a try. My one cat who's fairly finicky. I sprinkle some of this on the dry food. She had no problem eating up the food. Something I noticed though is I looked at the bowl of food because this is in fine powder form. Some of the powder would just sink to the bottom of the bowl so the animal won't consume it My next attempt I added it to wet food. Mixing it with the wet food, I had much better results. The one cat I can tell was sniffing like wondering that seems a little different but she eventually ate it and the other one didn't notice anything. So the one cat seems like it smelled it a little bit.Seed weed being the active ingredient to help clean the cat's teeth shouldn't do any harm. Even though I must admit, I've never taken my cats in to get their teeth cleaned. It never really ran to a problem since I fed them dry food with wet. I think that does a good job cleaning the teeth naturally compared to just feeding your cat wet food all the time.I am not sure of its effectiveness, since my cats do not really have bad breath to begin with. I will look at their teeth and see if I noticed a difference to see how effective it is and other changes to determine this product safety. I will inspect their stool and if that changes then I will update this review and then determine if it's a good value for money. I think as long as this container is kept closed and kept in a dry place, It should last.I will continue to use this. It's good to store this in a cool place for longevity
