it's been years since I bought this and still works perfectly. but beware, it is LOUD.

This is a game changer!! We have an 18-year-old cat and got our daughter a new kitten. The older cat gets stressed and wont use the same litter box as the kitten. Our older cat kept using the ac vents and shower as her potty because she wont share the litter box with the kitten. We had to find a way to keep the kitten feom sharing the litter box so I got this collar and door. Its a SUCCESS!!

It’s okay, not great. I was never really sure the magnetic lock was indeed working. Now that a raccoon can come right in, I know it doesn’t work as it should. Another customer reported turning the door around, which I will try but also looking to likely purchase something that works better.

Hopefully it'll work...... It's odd. I'm not sure I can write this to be understood, but here goes. But "door" refers to this product not the door it sits in.I need the door to let only my cat in, but any car out. My household helpers have assured me that there's only one way for that to be possible, and that is that the front of the door has to be on the inside of my actual door, looking pretty, which leaves part of the door "entryway" protruding into the hallway, looking decidedly not pretty. Luckily that doesn't bother me as much as the fact that my cat has to get through a 3" tunnel to get in. Not useful when she's trying to get away from the dog......I'm just hoping that the learning curve is short..... Otherwise this will end up with one star......

This unit is not powered or smart, uses a magnet… any magnet to unlock. If your cat rotates its collar at all it will be locked out as the magnet has to be at the bottom edge to open the door. Also if any other cats in the neighborhood have the same type of door they can come in
