I have a 4 month old Boston Terrier that gobbles these up and I am glad because that dog can get really hyper.I tried one and it seemed to help, but the other day it took two to calm her down. Mind you, this has to be about the most anxious (but unconditionally loving) dog I have ever seen. She looks to be about 10 lbs. now, and probably will mature at around 20, but those are only guesses. She is adorable and as frisky as the day is long! Unfortunately, she can play a little rough with our chihuahua, and these chews seem to make her more responsive to the subtle doggy communication process. Which, as a puppy, she is apparently still learning.These chews help break down the barriers and "approach-avoidance" behavior that her anxiety seems to produce. I recommend that you start with a low dose and go from there, but I would be surprised if you don't see results. Give them 1/2 hour or so and I think you will agree, they help In my case they did, and they didn't overly sedate our precious little pet. You get plenty of these so screw the lid on tight and they should last as good while.
