I'd been using an immersion blender to make my protein shakes the last few months and often created a mess doing so. The Ninja Blast is really good in that it eliminates this problem for me, and is not only easy to use and to clean, it does a great job of blending thoroughly and because it's cordless and rechargeable, you can take it with you. The top even has a convenient drinking spout, although I typically use that to put a straw in.It's a tad loud when in use, but that's normal for any blender, really. I got this on sale and at a good deal, so I'm pleased with my purchase.
